Welcome Turner Tyler Thompson to the world.

Turner was born the night of May 3, 2009 at Logan Regional Hospital.

Turner is the first grandson on the Thompson and Rose side of the family. He is just so super cute and we are exited to have him in the family, and as you can tell by the picture Natalie, Ellie, and Tyler are thrilled to have him part of their family.

Marci's First Time Golfing

Jason has always wanted to take me golfing, so we finally decided to go. We went out to The Skyway Golf course in Tremonton and Jason started to teach me how to golf. I told him that he couldn't make fun of me because this was my first time. I did okay but definitely have a ways to go. I still need a lot of work on my back swing. We rented a golf cart and we played 9 holes. I got frustrated towards the end and ended up not finishing the 9 holes, that I ended up regretting later because I was so close and I shouldn't have got so mad and upset because I thought I was doing bad. Jason reminded me that it was my first time golfing and that I was doing fine. I felt bad after because I took out some of my frustration out on him. Sorry honey!

We will have to keep going golfing and practicing so I can get better, and I will have to learn not to be so hard on myself and not to get mad at Jason because all he is doing is trying to help me and support me. Next time I hopefully wont ruin the experience in the end like i did with this time around. I seem to do that a lot. I really need to work on not getting mad over things that I don't need to get upset over.

Happy Birthday to Marci and Jason. Our birthdays at three days apart from each other. Jason always makes fun of me because for those three days I am two years older than him. Yes you read right I am one year older than Jason but there is one benefit because they say that the husband usually dies first so this way I will have one less year of being alone. LOL!

Happy 23rd birthday Marci. Jason made me a nightstand and I love it.

Happy 22nd birthday Jason. He was excited to get an air compressor so he could use his staple gun.

For our birthdays we invited our families to go eat at ABC's in Riverdale. It is a very yummy place to eat at.

Jason was going down the stairs in our apartment and he slipped down the stairs. It really hurt him and got really bruised. We decided to go to the doctor to see if he broke his toe and guess what. . . . . . . . HE DID BREAK HIS BIG TOE!!!!! Really the only things we could do for his broken toe is to either put it in a boot or splint and wrap it. And since he couldn't wear a boot to work we just doctored it ourselves. Poor Jason!

The Poor Ford

The Ford Taurus has had it rough lately. Three of the four sides of the car have been damaged, but not on purpose!

This dent was caused by Marci. She ran into her parents Yukon when she was backing out of their driveway. oops! My Bad!

We are not sure how this one happened, it was just there one day. Someone probably dinged it.

Now this dent is a butte, but we do not know who did it. It must have happened while Jason was at work or while it was parked outside our apartment. We think that someone backed into it and hit our car with their hitch.

On a positive side, at least it was not our Chevy Malibu.

My mom took most of us girls to Disney on Ice at the Energy Solutions Center in Salt Lake City. Natalie and her daughter wasn't able to go with us. It was a lot of fun to go with family and I hope we can keep doing this and keep making it a tradition

Where we met: we met at bear river high school my senior year, his junior year through my friend that had the same class as he did and he was using her notes, and also through one of my other friends that was also his friend.

How long we dated before we got hitched: we dated for four years (two years before his mission and then the two years of his mission we were still a couple but just was not able to date each other, so i guess you can say that i waited for him for four years)

How long have we been married: we have been married for seven months and one day. holy cow i cannot believe that we have been married that long, especially since it seemed to take so long for him to get back from his mission so we could get married.

What's my favorite feature about him: i would have to say his smile and arms. his smile is just so adorable, which makes it so i cannot stay mad at him for very long at all. and i love his arms they are just so hot and sexy. they are smooth, toned, and huge(muscular). just thinking about them turns me on. hehe!

What's my favorite quality about him: this one is easy, it would have to be that he is so sweet and caring. he always thinks about everyone else before himself. i need to be more like that. he is just so sweet to me and is so good to me. he helps so much around the house and is just the best husband ever!!!

What's his nickname for me: his nickname for me is honey and that is my nickname for him.

His favorite color: it is either red or blue. i can never remember but i think that it is blue.

His favorite food: is chinese food especially from ABC's

His favorite sport: BASKETBALL, that was an easy question

Who said the L word first: i am not exactly sure who said the L work first. we would always text it to eachother but we didnt actually say it to each other for a little bit and when we did it was not very often until he got hoome from his mission. i think i said it first to him before his mission and i was so scared to do so and he said it back. and he said it first after his mission during one of our first phone calls when he was in mississippi and i was on my way to china

First kiss when and where: on october 31st 2004 halloween night in front of his parents house. we both had witch and vampire makeup on and our halloween costumes on. i said i was cold and he gave me a kiss and asked if that helped and with a huge grin on my face i said yeah! i was on cloud nine but i also felt like i didnt give a good kiss because i was not expecting it. but i am glad he did it.

Favorite couple thing to do: to cuddle on the couch and watch movies together. i love doing that. he makes me feel so safe. and cuddling is just so much fun how could you not like to do that.

How many kids: none, or at least that we know of, jk we are not planning on having kids for a little while.

His hidden talent: making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. this talent is not hidden to his and my family though.

His age: 21 years old but he will be 22 in 22 days.

His favorite music: hip hop music but he is a good sport and will listen to most anything

What I admire most about him: that he is always so patient with me and is so forgiving when i get mad at him or do something blonde like. he loves me for me and thinks that i am perfect just the way i am!

His favorite pastimes: i think for this question i would have to say needing something and going to his parents and asking them in his sweet voice and innocent looking face for help or something (ex. borrow a tool) because he knows that he is spoiled and that they wont say no to him.

Will he read his: only if me or someone in his family shows him or tells him about it. i dont think he looks at our blog unless i am looking at it.

our cruise to cabo was so much fun. we did not end up going to ensanada because someone had a heart attack in the night and we had to go back to cabo where he had surgery, i would not want to have surgery in Mexico. so we were not able to go to ensanada a bummer but glad that it was not cabo that we could not go to. i am to thankful for Jason and this gift that he gave me for Christmas. he is so awesome and i love him so much. we will be definitely be going on another cruise, it was so fun and romantic.

Alright this is my catch up for the christmas parties and christmas. christmas was fun but i ended up getting the flu on christmas so that was not so much fun for me or jason. he felt bad that i was sick and he didnt know what to do to help. we got a lot of snow for christmas also. we had breakfast at dennys with jasons family and then just visited family. my family had a party on christmas eve and then unfortunately i had to go to work that night. hospitals dont close for holidays. this christmas was also a sad and reflective one. with the loss of our dear brother Zeb it made me really think about what is important and it is so sad that it takes something like this for us to realize what is really important to us. we will miss Zeb and we will always love you.

New Hair Cut

I have been wanting to get my hair cut for a while now but then decided to keep it long because jason likes my hair long and he has been so awesome this week and extra nice and helpful. but when we went over to logan on wednesday he asked if i had made an appointment with kristi to get both of our hair cuts. i was so surprised.

i got my hair cut on thursday morning and here is my new hair cut on sunday while we were visiting my parents. i love my new hair cut it is so cute. and jason even likes it, so that makes it that much better!

Today we went to one of Jason's mission companions homecoming, Elder Brett Jorgensen, with Lori, Jillian, Jesse, Tyiann, and Danielle. and while we were down there we went and visited heather, Breanne, and Maycie and showed his family their new house. it was so good to see them and we were glad that they were home.

Maycie was so good when we got there, she even let Jason hold her for like fifteen minutes without crying. he was so cute while he was holding her.

Breanne really liked Tyiann and Danielle while we were there also. she kept wanting to take pictures of Tyiann.

This is our first Christmas card. isn't it just so cute. Jason had got his hair cut the night before and i got mine done that morning. Lori offered to take our pictures so we had dean and her meet us in Tremonton at the park by VaDels (i can never remember the name of that park, but Jason knows it but he is not with me right now so i guess this will have to do) so we could have our picture taken for our card. and we did pictures just because i wanted to have some pictures with our new hair cuts. it was so much fun and i really appreciate Lori and dean coming and doing that for us. they are awesome.

My Husband is so awesome!!! He was such a good sport to come and see the movie "Twilight" with me, my sister Heather, and her sister-in-law Heidi. Even though he had work at 5am the next morning he was still willing to go with me so I didnt have to go by myself. I love him so much and I am so glad that we enjoy doing everything with each other no matter what it is that we do. Whether it be helping his sister with her house, shopping, or going to see a chickflick movie where you are the only person with testosterone in the group. I just want to thank him for always being there for me, making me laugh, and putting up with my mood swings. (but it is not like i ever have those! hehe!)I am the LUCKIEST girl ever!!! I love you Honey!!!

We have started to look at lots to build our first house on. it is so exciting to think about actually owning a "Home" instead of a "House"!!!! I cannot wait to get approved for the lot and house by the banks but i know that the process is not the funnest. so that part i could do without but i know it has to be done. i just hope it is not to stressful. I will keep you all updated on this journey that we are going to face and hopefully endure!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!! i feel so violated and not safe anymore. someone broke into our house and stole our TV, Camera, and Video recorder that had our wedding and honeymoon stuff on it. i have cried so much and i think it is mostly because i am scared. in my our house i am scared that "they" are watching me and are going to come back for more stuff. jason has been so sweet and nice to comfort me and willing to do anything to help me feel safe. i dont know if we will end up moving or what. but i would like to but our lease isnt up until august so i guess we will see. i hope we find our stuff but i know the chances are slim. all i really really want is our pictures and DVD. they can have the rest of the stuff. all i know is that it will never be the same in our apartment after 3:00 PM on Wednesday November 5, 2008 in Tremonton, UT!

Frightmares

For Halloween me and Jason dressed up and took Jullian, Jesse, Tyiann, and Danielle to Frightmares. Jason was a baseball player and I was a dead dancer. It was a lot of fun. I put scars on Jesse and Tyianns face and neck. they looked awesome but me and Tyiann had to take our scars on when we were going into Frightmares because it is there policy. Jesse got away with it because it was on his neck or they didnt see it. So that stunk. I looked like i had tons on blush on after i took the scars off because of the red make-up. Tyiann participated in the Hypnotist act, it was so hillarious. we all had tons of fun riding rides, going through the haunted houses, eating pizza, and getting hot chocolate and carmel apples before we left.

oh hey everyone i am finally starting a blog. arent you so proud of me lori! lol! we will see how well i keep up with it and if i can understand how to do all the little gadgets on it like everyone else has. i know my page is real simple right now but that is becuase i am at work doing it (it is a slow day at the hospital which overall is a good thing). hopefully i will have some fun pictures up soon so it looks more interesting. wish me good luck as i start this project!
